Along with the Funky-Tents marquee range gives you the opportunity to create the event you really want. You will also have the added bonus of being able to hire (and even dine in) your own Pullman Carriage or hire a working steam engine which can take you and guests along the mile long track.

Second Venue Announced for Essex!

Over two weeks ago we announced our first venue at Braid Farm, today we are announcing a second venue for the Essex region.

Barnston Lodge, Barnston, Essex


What a gorgeous venue accompanied by a lovely Georgian House. Barnston Lodge is the perfect setting for a marquee wedding reception or corporate event. It is tranquil and timeless and epitomises rural England.

Barnston Lodge is a family home where guests are made to feel welcome and relaxed at once.
The house and gardens are surrounded by paddocks with grazing horses and mixed farm land.
As well as the extensive grounds to house your Funky-Tent, you are shielded by ancient trees and a nearby lake which is a perfect photo opportunity on the jetty.

Join us on the 1st March 2015 at Normanton Church for a Wedding Open Day, were you will be able to talk to the relevant people about getting married at Normanton Church and holding your reception at Rutland Water.
Our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and talk you through the different options of holding your wedding at Rutland Water.

Sunday 26th April, Rutland Water (Whitwell Entrance)

Located on The Point at Rutland Water, entrance via Whitwell, Sunday 26th April 2015 will be our chance to showcase what we, alongside other suppliers, can do for your event.
Suppliers will include the amazing Deans Street Photography, Hi-5 Fireworks and many more!
Two of our structures will take pride of place, while our Funky-Tents team will be able to talk you through the bespoke plans we can do for you.

Not getting married? Not to worry, pop down to see our structures in their full glory and what we can do for your party or event. So the more, the merrier!
